For thousands of years, the Himalayan mountains have been a practice sanctuary for yoga masters who went on to initiate many of the major paths of yogic tradition. Jay learned yoga from Vishwayatan Yogashram in India in 1983 and has been exploring the depths of yoga since then. For past many years, he has endeavored to achieve a scientific understanding of yoga and natural cures while improving his skills as a pharmacist. He specializes in MTM (Medication Therapy Management), and previously had a career in international marketing of Ayurvedic and Pharmaceutical products.
Jay and his wife Terry co-founded a non-profit, YogaCaps, Inc., to help serve humanity by sharing healthy lifestyle practices. He holds a special place for sharing the joy of yoga with at-risk and under-served populations.
